How to get there
The Museum of Almost is an immersive multimedia experience exploring the unfinished parts of being human. Venture through the relationships that almost worked, the paths we almost took, the people we almost became, and the things we almost said.
Combining original music, visual art, found objects, photography, text, and storytelling, the project transforms the performance space into an intimate, living museum centered on memory, identity, grief, resilience, womanhood, and transformation.
Rather than experiencing the work from a traditional audience seat, visitors are invited to move through the museum at their own pace and interact with selected pieces. Through prompts and participatory elements, they can reflect on their own unfinished stories and contribute something of themselves to the museum’s evolving collection of “almosts.” The audience does not simply observe the museum; their presence and participation become part of its story.
Originally developed as a museum built within the artist’s own hallway, The Museum of Almost reimagines an everyday space as a place where memory, sound, art, and community can meet. It offers a temporary home for the experiences that never fully resolved but still shaped who we became.
The project asks: What might happen when we allow those unfinished pieces to exist outside of us, even for a moment? And how do we take everything we almost were and use it to become something new?
